In 1988, Yings Wings and Things began as a small Chinese restaurant with a simple goal: to bring delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine to the local community. Founded by Jim Ying, the restaurant initially operated under Yings Garden, offering traditional dishes prepared with care and passion. As time passed, Jim Ying recognized the growing diversity of tastes in the area and decided to expand the menu. Little by little, the restaurant added pizza, wings, tacos, subs, burgers, and more, becoming a local favorite known for its variety and high-quality food.

By 2007, Yings Wings and Things had grown into a culinary icon, earning the distinction as one of the "100 Best Chinese Restaurants in the United States." This recognition was a testament to Jim Yings dedication to excellence and innovation. Over the years, the business evolved from a single Chinese restaurant into a versatile dining experience, offering everything from Italian dinners and Greek cuisine to classic American comfort foods like burgers and hot dogs.
