James Jiang, representing the third generation of Ying's Wings and Things, proudly redesigned the restaurant's website to reflect its rich history and commitment to quality. A talented designer and innovator, James has used his skills to modernize the restaurant's online presence while maintaining its legacy. The new website showcases Yings story, menu, and the variety that has made it a beloved community institution.
At its peak, Yings expanded to five locations, serving everything from Chinese and Italian cuisine to Greek and American classics. Today, the flagship location continues to cater to every craving with high-quality food and exceptional service. In 1988, Yings Wings and Things began as a small Chinese restaurant with a simple goal: to bring delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine to the local community. Founded by Jim Ying, the restaurant initially operated under Yings Garden, offering traditional dishes prepared with care and passion. As time passed, Jim Ying recognized the growing diversity of tastes in the area and decided to expand the menu. Little by little, the restaurant added pizza, wings, tacos, subs, burgers, and more, becoming a local favorite known for its variety and high-quality food.
By 2007, Yings Wings and Things had grown into a culinary icon, earning the distinction as one of the "100 Best Chinese Restaurants in the United States." This recognition was a testament to Jim Yings dedication to excellence and innovation. Over the years, the business evolved from a single Chinese restaurant into a versatile dining experience, offering everything from Italian dinners and Greek cuisine to classic American comfort foods like burgers and hot dogs.
The success of Yings Wings and Things didn't stop at one location. At its peak, the Ying family operated five restaurants, ranging from casual bars and late-night eateries to upscale dining establishments.
